centraQuest Architecture
The centraQuest architecture separates user interface, search, business applications, automation, archive, and task management into clearly recognizable layers.
Architecture Principle
WebUI and Portal form the access layer for internal users, external roles, and specialized application views. Below that, centraQuest Search connects search across documents, metadata, and connected information sources.
The application layer bundles business modules and integrations in the centraQuest APP Server. Sources and business systems such as Office, mail, paper or fax input, SRM/CRM, and ERP systems provide documents and data to the platform.
The centraQuest Automation Server processes background tasks. This includes archiving, conversion, data import, export jobs, and an AI module for intelligent automation.
AI in the Automation Server
The AI module extends automation with intelligent processing steps. Typical use cases are:
- document classification
- extraction of invoice and receipt data
- suggestions for accounting assignment or responsibility
- detection of suspicious or incomplete information
- support for search, summarization, and prioritization
AI is not a separate island system. It is a module within the automation layer, so results can flow directly into workflows, dashboards, archiving, and business processes.
Archive and Tasks
centraQuest DMS / Archive provides durable document storage. Tasks add assignments, deadlines, responsibilities, and workflow visibility.
Together, archive and task management ensure that documents are not only stored, but actively connected with business processes.
