Invoice: Reporting
Invoice reporting helps users identify open tasks, due invoices, overdue documents, and the current processing status.
Dashboard
The dashboard is described in the dedicated chapter Invoice: Dashboard. It provides the operational view for daily processing.
E-Mail Reporting
E-mail reports inform users about relevant tasks and deadlines. Typical examples are:
- review and approval reports
- due-date summaries
- reminders for open invoices
- notifications about overdue documents
These reports are especially useful when users do not work in the dashboard every day or need to keep track of tasks while away from their desk.
Search and Traceability
Invoice makes invoices easier to find. Users can locate documents through the dashboard, archive structures, status information, metadata, or direct links from reports and notifications.
This reduces the need to search through mailboxes, file shares, or manual lists.
Control and Steering
Finance, controlling, and business departments share a common view of open invoices, amounts, deadlines, and responsibilities. This makes bottlenecks, blocked cases, and time-critical payments visible earlier.
